Manometal GmbH is a traditional metal working machine turning shop based in South Tyrol.
The know how in this family concern is based on many years of experience. The development of the company over the last 3 decades and the associated market success is the result of a continual development of the processes and procedures within the company and of investment in state-of-the art manufacturing equipment.

The company was founded by Herbert Schmucker, Bärbel Drefs and Gerd Regese in 1980; the company headquarters was rented premises in Egna, and production began with a staff of 8.

In September 1993 we moved into company-owned company premises at our Egna site, right next to the Brenner motorway. In 2009, as part of a long-term handover to a new generation, the partnership shares were taken over by Herbert and Jörg Schmucker and Thomas Ebner. In 2013 the staff numbered 43.

Following the motto "maximum product quality and precision in our turned parts", we mainly manufacture turned parts in brass alloys, alloys approved for use with drinking water, soft steels and aluminium in medium to large series, as well as complete components made up of turned parts. These mostly go to customers from the fields of control and regulatory technology, heating, the fittings, furniture, automotive, leisure and electrical industries.

Production is undertaken over two generously planned floors with cost-effective layout processes which, according to up-to-date knowledge and studies, contribute to efficient serial production.

Lasting product quality and meeting customers requirements are among the primary objectives at Manometal. This is ensured by trained and qualified employees, as well as through state-of-the-art production equipment and a quality management system certified to ISO 9001:2008 In November 2010 a health and safety system based on OHSAS 18001 was introduced.

We enjoy long-term, partnership based business relationships with all our customers and suppliers from the fields of trade, craft and industry.

Our sustainable business success and our presence in all European markets with a high level of exports is the result of a company strategy that focuses on modernisation and customer orientation.
